High Garden Floor

Image
A very easy concept to grasp - add gardens into tower blocks. We are not talking a single office or a small area, but a couple of whole floors are least to make a large garden area. Residents/workers can visit, sit down or even help maintain the area - some weeding and feeding It would grow fruit and vegetables which could be taken at any time Include Aquaponics in the middle where fish would thrive to help feed the plants Catch the water that trickles down the side of the towers for watering and cleansing Contact me using the form below to grow this project.

Sand Appendages

Image
When on the beach why not add some appendages of the sea-folk sort. Here is my daughter with a mermaids tail, plus a list of other possibilities.

Big Pebbles with Big Faces

Image
Whilst on holiday I was playing around with shells and stones on the beach. Then I had a wonderful idea of drawing on the pebbles. When I got back home with a few big pebbles I used a pencil instead. Have a look at some of the creations Skull and Mr Stoney

Llama Drama from Polystyrene

Image
Create your very own creatures from the packaging supplied by Ikea, simply cut into the pieces and shapes you want and then join together. To join the parts, roll a piece of A4 paper into a tube tightly, secure with sellotape and cut into sticks to join polystyrene pieces together. See image below for example of joint on the rear leg. Made from strip of Polystyrene from Ikea unit packaging Llama model (Polystyrene strip in background) Llama coloured in by our daughter on the other side

Settee to Train in 60 seconds

Image
How to turn your settee into a "Mr Maker Train" in less than 60 seconds, and get your kid to create their own control panel. My panel became the engine room whilst my daughters was the drivers control panel. Choo Choo! Adding my control panel to engine room of the train Mia at the control panel. This is Mia's control panel - made it all by herself.  Also added some moving bars to so the speed could be changed from 0 to 5 miles per hour. Could also have added dials to move around. A great way to learn numbers and drawing new things.

Yakult Happy People

Image
Turn a Yakult tub into a happy person. Turn the pot upside down, draw a person then cut some hair out and add with glue or sticky tape. Voila - a little yakult person. You can add Christmas tree lights to light them up or add small magnets underneath to move them around a table with an additional magnet under the table. Could be a first to knock the other one over game? Enjoy! Start with Yakult pot and some paper hair. Draw on features and add hair! Wow! From the front.

Tax Tax Tax

Image
A web project created using Symfony revealing the amount of tax we really pay, just think when you get your pay packet and get taxed at 16%; then go and fill up with petrol and get taxed another 60%; then do the family shop and get taxed 20% on that, then pay off your council tax and pay 100% tax on that. Wow! Unless you are underpaid; can fit into childrens clothes; walk to work and eat  food off an allotment you might be spending a fortune on Tax Tax Tax. So what is my own taxed amount - after taxable, food and petrol and clothes I reached about 26%. I do walk to work mostly and our weekly shopping bill is fixed mostly. Paper Peepy Eyes

Image
Leaving Romax was quite sad, but having fun there was nice. Here is an alternative way to use your 3d glasses from going to the cinema. Add some paper behind the glasses and create a new look. Mr Vattenfall looks cool ... Mr Vattenfall with Paper Peepy Eyes

Wallpaper World

Image
A 3D world made from wallpaper strips. No 3d glasses required for this un-modern approach to creating your own breath taking scenes. A nice tip is when creating people/creatures and cutting them out, use folded piece of paper and you will get four or more with a single cut. Cut out the layers - made from the same roll of wallpaper Bend the layers forward a bit to give more depth Cut out people and creatures to add Add wallpaper behind picture for more texture Final version with snakes, dragons, hot air balloons, people and Mike.
