Find a Car Park Space

A phone application to find a car parking space quickly. As you pull into the Ikea car park you open the phone application which shows you a map of the car park, it has some suggested free parking spaces or you can click on a space where you'd like to park. The application keeps you up to date on spaces and will suggest a new space if the one you went for is taken. I see this being implemented with: * Cameras placed to detect the free spaces using photos (this could be offered as a temporary solution) * Mobile application that shows a simple grid map orientated from the drivers perspective. * A great way to see how car park spaces are used for the company

Paper Table of Ideas

When having meetings anywhere - bars, office, coffee houses - have paper table covers that people can write on and express their ideas whilst people talk. Encourage people to write what they mean on the paper table cover so that they can be recorded. This would also be a good way to express negative thoughts and comments as well. The organiser can then take the table cover and take photos of it and report the findings to the other participants. Something like this for menu placings

Time to Share

What a strange world we live in with many people living in a big old house by themselves. Would it be possible to get people to share a house when they live alone - take two old ladies who would like a bit of companionship, reduce their heating bills and reduce the worry and get release some money from the equity in the house. They both live in a big house - so the idea that one of them sells up and moves into the other house. Splitting the money accordingly on sale of the house and possibly modifying the new house with lifts, toilet on ground floor and other modifications that would help them. So what does this bring to the people who would use this? Release some money/equity from the sale of a house Provide companionship by sharing the house Release a house onto the market for buyers - so fewer houses would need to be built Reduce the worry of winter bills and bills in general I see the website based on a dating site where people would match their likes and dislikes ag

Quarter Size Christmas Trees

Christmas trees that only take up a quarter of the space of a normal tree? How is this possible you ask? Well using smoke and mirrors you too can have a full size tree for quarter of the room. I lied about the smoke - that's purely optional. The idea is simple where a tree quarter the size is backed by two mirrors to give the illusion of a complete tree. Excellent where space is an issue - on a boat or in a small room.
